Biography of Jason Howell (Jason was born February 12, 1976 in Americus, Georgia. He was raised in Warner Robins, Georgia just south of Macon. Jason currently resides and works in Downtown Atlanta. His hobby designing and building custom work became a passion. In the late 1990’s he began to focus on handcrafted woodwork. With the Grain Studio’s was created to marry his passion for handcrafted custom work with his career. “I focus on quality through each step of the process when I accept a commission. I begin with the design aspects of the project. This includes choosing materials that lend unique texture, character and appeal.
